The Muncie Central High School Alumni Association has awarded its teacher grants, valued at more than $1,900, to four Central teachers for 2026.   Teachers, amount of grant and items to be purchased are as follows:   –Lucy Benefiel, special education teacher, $500, supplies to create a sensory room   –Sarah Hoffman, math/physics teacher, $436.04, five flying pigs and digital Newton meters for centripetal motion experiments   –Kayla Howard, fine arts teacher, $500, power tools
