Alumni Association introduces Inspiration Awards for students

The Alumni Association gave eight Inspiration Awards, five for graduating seniors and three for underclassmen, at the Muncie Central Award Ceremonies.

The Inspiration Awards were given for the first time in 2025, and the Alumni Association plans to make these awards an annual event.

Each recipient received a plaque and a $100 VISA card.

Senior recipients are as follows:

Literacy (creative writing) – Jackson Smith

Outstanding Fine Arts – Eleanor Martin

Mathematics – Aaron Coggeshall

Community Advocate – Jamar Clark

Bearcat Spirit Award – Matt Ryder

Underclassmen recipients are as follows:

Literacy (creative writing) – Echo Rouse

Outstanding Fine Arts, Badam Urguni

Mathematics – Wesley Wolfe
